Today, Aug. 17,2014 @ 5:00 Pm, a welcome conference was held at the Community Center, 6767 Cote Des Neige, Montreal Quebec. which was hosted by the Federation of Philippines Canadian Trade and Commerce of Quebec President’s Ms. Grace Yip in collaboration with other Filipino community leaders introduce to the delegates by Ms. Josefa Nicolas of FFCAQ President. Delegates was warmly welcome also by Montreal City Administrators : City Councilor Lionel Perez in behalf of Mayor Denis Coderre, City Councilor. Marvin Rotrand and Cote Saint Luc Mayor Anthony Housefather to name a few from those Canadian leaders who are very supportive to the Filipino community. Ms. Svetlana Litvin of Impact de Affaires of Canada who gave the information’s of opportunities available for Canadian most especially resident of Quebec who needs assistance in pursuing their education and skills enhancement. Ms. Svetlana Litvin is working with the English Board in Quebec for the vocational courses to be offered free for any resident of Quebec. Ms. Silvia Romero, Consultant of Mary Poppins in Montreal gave information’s too, for opportunities in putting up Daycare Centers entrepreneurship business. Dinner were served for everybody who attended the event and the crowed was entertain by Montreal Fil-Can Idol winners Mr. Mark Simbulan, Julie Tenorio, Leslie Carmelotes, Elisa Jane Cullarin and Chloe Malvar. Trade Mission to Canada delegates will stay here in Montreal until Aug. 20, 2014.
